This app is for kids 3 to 6 years old.

If you have a preschooler, then this is a great app for your kid!
With these cards they will learn more about all the animals in this world.
Each card shows 4 animals, and they have to press the HEAR sound button in the middle of the screen. One option will be played and they have to choose the correct animal related to that audio.

for example: you will be presented with the following animals: tiger, dog, mouse and cow. When you press the "Hear sound" button you hear> "Which animal is faster?" then you have to press the Tiger as correct answer!!

Pros and cons of preschoolTAP - Animals Time! app for iPhone and iPad

preschoolTAP - Animals Time! app good for

My son is 3 and it kept him entertained for a while. He got bored quickly but he keeps going back to it over and over so that is a success in my book. I look forward to updates with more questions and cards.

My 3 year old son loves it. He loves the animals and the ability to interact with it! He gets so excited when he gets a happy face for getting it right! He reaaly understands the questions and when I ask him questions it shows me he understands me as well. Perfect for his age! Tests him but not too hard!

Some bad moments

I try out all apps before my son sees them... I immediately decided to delete the app when I got the answer wrong and the nice picture turned into a red frowny face that shook its head back and forth saying "no" or "wrong answer". The red face was just too much. Dont want my son to associate wrong answers with something bad or negative-- learning should be fun & wrong answers are just a positive part of learning. Other than that, very nice free app.

I love how interactive this app is, but I agree with the previous poster... The frowny face is definitely too harsh. It could effectively be replaced with a thoughtful-type face that says something like, "Hm... Try again!" I dont want my iPhone to reprimand my daughter... The "NO NO" should be removed and it would be an awesome addition to our collection of toddler learning apps.
